The New Look of PK Lures

A lot of people have been wondering when our new website and online store would be ready. Well, the time is near for all of you who have been wondering when the time would come. We plan to be live with the website by no later than Wednesday morning. That means that everyone can come and purchase any of our Ridgeline cranks, Flutter Fish spoons and Extreme Action swimbaits. Our new store offers a much more friendly shopping experience that will allow customers to easily select the lures they want, review lures they have used and refer their friends to particular products. Here is a preview of what the site will look like.

I will keep everyone posted on when the site will be up and running. We have to test a couple things and then we will be up and running. I appreciate everyone's patience and look forward to serving all of you in your tackle needs. We will be adding more products like our Killer spoon and shallow running crankbaits here in the near future. Remember to check our updates on Facebook and you will have all the information on when products will be available.

Thanks,

Patrick Edwards

Here We Go!

Steve G’s Blog 2-9-10

Here we go, all of us involved at PK Lures are excited to be in the business of creating a fishing experience with new innovative products. Pat O’Grady continues to develop new ideas and ways to catch fish that are far above the expectations of all involved in the industry. Especially from the consumer, to the supplier and the media.

As we approach the date the lures will be available to the angling public, we face some challenges. As you can see we are new to the market and need the support of our followers to experience placement in the stores they frequent to produce interest. The most effective way to help us accomplish this is to ask the managers at these locations if they have ever heard of PK Lures and its products. Then refer them to our website and the Facebook link: http://www.facebook.com/pages/PK-Lures/255271876344. If any of our followers would like to become involved in our Guide Staff, experience the benefits of a guide staff program and assist in the grass roots marketing efforts of PK Lures, please send a resume to steve@pklures.com. I am also looking for sales representatives in many areas of the US.

PK Ridgeline Crank

Hey everyone! I have great news for all of you that like to throw crankbaits to catch fish. The PK Ridgeline crankbait is one of the most revolutionary baits to hit the market. The Ridgeline crank utilizes a pronounced lateral line and flat sides to create unmatched vibration and flash. The Ridgeline targets not only the vision of the fish, but the lateral line sensory system as well. These components are paramount to attracting all varieties of fish. But it doesn't stop there. The Ridgeline also utilizes a low tone rattle that literally calls in fish from a distance. So, if the fish doesn't initially see it or feel it, they will at least hear it and come in for a closer look. What more can you ask from a crankbait?
I know that predatory fish will and do hit this bait with authority. If you are a muskie or pike fisherman, this bait should get you wondering what kind of behemoths you can wrangle out of the weed beds and rock piles while using it. If you love catching big lake trout, this lure is for you.
PK Ridgelines definitely make you wonder what all they can do. So, the only way to answer the question is to try one! Find out for yourself, you won't be disappointed. These baits will be available soon! Stay tuned...

The PK Difference

Have you ever had a day on the water where it seems like you just can't catch anything no matter what you tie on your line? I've had many days where the fishing is just lousy and I go home knowing that there should have been something that worked or thinking that I did something completely wrong.

Recently I was having one of those days on one of my favorite fishing holes here in Wyoming. I started fishing early in the morning on Upper Sunshine Reservoir near Meeteetse. It was a crisp and I began my day by using lures that had worked in the past. I couldn't catch a thing. So, I looked through my box and saw my PK Flutterfish and thought I might as well give it a shot. On my second cast I landed a nice Yellowstone Cutthroat trout. I fished it a bit longer and had multiple other hits but the Flutterfish I had a was a little bit too big for the situation. I decided I would change it up and throw a PK Killer spoon instead. On my third cast I landed another nice Cutthroat. Pretty awesome.

I have used a lot of lures in my life and have caught numbers of fish but the PK line of lures is unlike any other lures on the market. I have been able to catch fish on PK's when other people haven't had success on anything else. That speaks volumes about the kind of lures they are. I've been able to catch Walleye on the lure as well.

So, when the fishing gets tough, tie on a PK. You won't be disappointed!
